Privacy Policy

1. Data We Do Not Collect

ColorSpectrum does not collect, store, or process:

  • Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
  • Your individual test answers
  • IP address logs linked to your results
  • Browser fingerprinting data
  • Behavioral analytics (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no similar SDKs)

2. How Test Results Work

When you complete the test, your answers are sent to a Cloudflare Edge Worker via an encrypted HTTPS request. The Worker computes your scores in memory, generates a signed result token (a short-lived cryptographic token), and returns that token to your browser. Your raw answers are never written to any database or log. The token expires after 7 days.

3. Local Storage

ColorSpectrum uses your browser's localStorage for two purposes:

  • Test progress: In-progress answers are cached locally for up to 24 hours so you can resume an interrupted session. This data never leaves your device.
  • Color Diary: If you choose to save results to your diary, up to 24 entries are stored in localStorage under the key colorspectrum-diary. You can export or delete this data at any time from the Color Diary page.

We do not use cookies for tracking. Any cookies set by the Cloudflare infrastructure are strictly technical (rate limiting, DDoS protection) and do not contain personally identifiable information.

4. Third-Party Services

ColorSpectrum is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may log metadata (request timestamps, geographic region, response codes) for operational and security purposes, subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts CDN. Google may log requests subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks are used.

5. Data Deletion

Since we store no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our end. To remove locally stored diary data, visit the Color Diary page and use the "Clear Diary" option, or clear localStorage for colorpersonalitytest.co in your browser settings.

6. Children's Privacy

ColorSpectrum is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the service, there is no data to retrieve or delete as we store nothing personally identifiable.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
